Music can be a beautiful thing.  Here in Mrs. Mathis’ class 6th Grade students take a General Music class that teaches students to appreciate many styles of music from all over the world.  This course is designed to give every 6th Grader a taste of all that music has to offer. There is also a  6th Grade Choir that meets on Thursdays after school from 3-4pm. The 7th and 8th Grade students are combined creating a choir that performs and competes.   These students have approximately two performances per semester.  Nothing can express who you are, what you believe and what you feel than music.  The goal of this class is to grow as a musician and as a human being by making music together.
