2008 Consignment Policy

What is the store looking for?
Due to limited space, we will be accepting only a limited number of textbooks, teacher's editions and unmarked workbooks in good, resalable condition. We do not accept any video instruction manuals

Who sets the price of the books?
You may price the material however you wish. It is suggested that the materials not be priced higher than one-half the original retail.

What else should I consider when setting the price?
  • Is it a current edition?
  • What is the condition of the book?
  • Are there any stray marks?
  • How popular is the curriculum?
  • If applicable, are companion workbooks readily available?
How much will I receive after it sells?
Once each quarter, we will mail you 60% of the consignment purchase price for the goods that were sold.

How long will you keep my books on the shelf?
If your books doesn't sell in six months, we will notify you by phone asking you to pick it up within fourteen days, or we will put it on the Free Shelf.

How do I start?
  • Print and complete the Consignment Record Form from the website.
  • Bring the completed Consignment Record Form and your books into the store.
  • Please plan ample time for us to review each book and determine its salability, before you leave the bookstore.
  • We'll assign a record number and place a barcode sticker on each book we accept.
  • The books are shelved in our consignment area and they'll be ready for sale.
